Lots going on

27/09/11
Hi Crew

So much going on, so much happening.  Our creator has been in talks with lots of people, we are on screen, off screen, in a book, in a presentation, and people keep laughing at us and going, aaaah so cute.

I hear the competition is coming soon, t shirts, mugs, signed pictures, posters to be won, so exciting.  I even got the crew to clean and polish the engine 3 times in one Fruitville day, Steadie loved it.

Happy Apple has taken us through our exercise routine, Core it was great.

Peel-In slipped up again, he does try but unfortunately gets it wrong, we do love him though, and soon he will get everything right, I know he will?

See you all soon, gooday Captain Straw.

Feel good today!

Hi everyone.  let us all this week try and do something that makes us healthier and makes us smile.  Why not try running games, jumping, skipping, having a fruit party, play games or have competitions.
In Fruitville we always make sure we have fun and exercise everyday.  Happy Apple is the most energetic out of all of the crew, jumping up and down, smiling, laughing and generally having a good time.
Why not get your parents to send us a mail and tell us what it is you have done to make you both healthier and make you smile.
Come on, join the FES?  Gooday Captain Straw...

Hi all, The Fruit Cases show is off to Annecy in France tomorrow.  based on the French/Swiss border, in one of Europe's most beautiful settings we are going to be meeting with some of the industries leading TV networks and distributors from all over the world.
We would like to thank all of you who have supported us, followed us and laughed with us to date.  We have had great success and feedback from the school tour in the South East of England, where children. teachers and parents have commented favourably.
Having just finished recording some new ditties for the characters, which are wacky, yes wacky, we are now ready to get on the plane and make our way there.
Finally can I take this opportunity to once again praise the fantastic vocal talents of Rolf Harris, Chris Barrie, Holly Houliston and Andy Nyman, play the main characters in the Pilot, Rolf Harris as Captain Straw is amazing, Chris Barrie as his crew members and the troublesome Sour Lolly is also unbelievable.

Merci
Keep watching for updates...

Roger Daltery wows with fantastic performance

I was lucky enough to be invited along to The Albert Hall last night to see Roger Daltery perform for The Teenage Cancer Trust http://www.teenagecancertrust.org/

The gig was fantastic, Mr. Daltery was bang on throughout.  The band were also fantastic, including performances from Pete Townshend and his sone Simon Townshend who were brilliant.

Support was from the Fratelli who with his band were also fantastic, with some great songs played superbly.  The sight of the two drummers playing on some of the tracks totally synchronised was a joy to watch!
